Hello, My Dears. Long time no see.
I thought that this entry was necessary, before to move on later with some more related to my trip in Japan.
As you know, Deathly Hallows has been released on the very same day of my way to get there. And as most of you knew as well, I didn't want to think or hear about it by any mean. Well...
I found my copy two days before to take my flight to return home. I should rather say than my Good Spirits allowed me to get it, for that's how it went. They told me to give a quick checking glance at the end, and indeed there it was, p.605:
"Draco Malfoy was standing there with his wife and son, a dark coat buttoned up to his throat. His hair was receding somewhat, which emphasised the pointed chin. The new boy resembled Draco as much as Albus resembled Harry. Draco caught sight of Harry, Ron, Hermione and Ginny staring at him, nodded curtly and turned away again."
I could barely conceal a broad smile of relief drawing upon my face, just by reading this. Then, My Little Dragon is the person whose call-up has been deferred, in the end? I knew instantly that it gave then sense to something else, which occurred a few days before I left to visit Japan. I've been inspired the third installment's title of my own trilogy, still in the works at this time.
The Child of The Dragons
What's that?
According to what my inspiration told me, a Child of The Dragons is a child assumed to have fire instead of blood running into its veins. There is just such one child born per century, it seems. The child's name is Anthony, is meant to replace me when I'll be gone, and his love interest's called Amandine.
The point is, in reverse, if Jo had gotten Draco killed, I never would have been given the right lane for Anthony's story in return, and Deathly Hallows forever denied to be part of my private library, if I may express it that way. Jo, thank you. Thank you so much for this wonderful gift. I said something, and looks like you definitively heard it. Blessed Be.
For I'm not the only one whom got her wish granted: Jason Isaacs (Lucius), got his not having his character spending the rest of his days at Azkaban (sorry, I won't tell, quick checking glance or not! *lol*), and Tom Felton (Draco), got his of a Big Bang (but not quite as he expected it, more into the one I got in mind, according to my knowledge of Dragons' Ways to turn the tables over the one(s) whom betrayed them, hé, hé...Sorry, won't tell either! *lol*).
What does this mean, then? It means I may now enjoy my reading of Deathly Hallows, bite by bite, as I always do while reading Jo's books, precisely because of that . I don't care much about fast reading, I think you may miss some important points or details. Especially with Jo's books.
I've solemnly sworn to be up to no good...
My Patronus is an animal which flee into presence of Selfishness, and you've to be Pure of Heart if you want to approach me. I got my Marauder's nickname from Professor Lupin, for I've the habit to drink a tea grown atop of the Himalaya.
YES. I'm Darjeeling.
Mischief Managed!
With Love,
Sam.
